In concise lessons, Prof. Dr. Hermann Parzinger \u2014 archaeologist, historian, cultural heritage expert and Executive President of Europa Nostra \u2014 explains why heritage matters for democracy, dialogue, social responsibility and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series addresses key challenges in contemporary heritage protection, including ethics, ownership and restitution, working with communities, difficult histories, climate change, digital transformation, social media and the future of heritage in Europe.
