Dominika Hołuj, PhD in economics (2011). Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic and Social History / UNESCO Chair for Heritage and Urban Studies at the Cracow University of Economics. Her research interests include urban studies, local government and governance, and public participation in cultural heritage management. Author of over 30 scientific papers and a monograph on the role of local government in the development of the metropolitan functions of Cracow. Member of expert teams dealing with cultural heritage and local development issues (OECD, National Heritage Institute (NID)). Previously worked for the Regional Chamber of Audit, the public institution supervising the legal aspects of finance in Polish local government.
