We invite students interested in cultural heritage, urban studies, culture, management and public policies to explore the European Heritage Masterclass — a new 12-part video series by Europa Nostra with Prof. Dr. Hermann Parzinger.
The series was developed as part of the Europa Nostra Heritage Agora project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. In concise lessons, Prof. Dr. Hermann Parzinger — archaeologist, historian, cultural heritage expert and Executive President of Europa Nostra — explains why heritage matters for democracy, dialogue, social responsibility and international cooperation.
The series addresses key challenges in contemporary heritage protection, including ethics, ownership and restitution, working with communities, difficult histories, climate change, digital transformation, social media and the future of heritage in Europe. The full series, together with additional resources and reference texts, is available on the Europa Nostra website: https://www.europanostra.org/agora-2025-2028/partnerships/european-heritage-masterclass/
